Kerry Smith is a lifelong journalist.
The founder and former owner of Illinois Business Journal, Kerry currently owns and operates Informationworks, Inc., a firm that writes editorial content for a wide range of companies and industries.
Having written copy for radio, newsprint, digital as well as white papers, speeches and more, Kerry now assists clients in pitching news coverage requests to media outlets. Essentially, she now works on both sides of the news desk – as an active editor and contributing writer, and on behalf of clients who are seeking positive coverage from the media.
Kerry holds an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a graduate degree in public policy from SIUE.
