Our featured speaker for this month’s meeting is Lee Crockett with Venture Advisors. Lee has extensive experience as an entrepreneur, as a consultant, and as a mentor. As an entrepreneur he was principle/founder in several start-up ventures and managed a small business turn-around. Lee has served as a mentor and has participated on over five dozen mentoring teams for start-up ventures. He created and implemented a highly successful mentoring program for social enterprises and nonprofits.
In 2011 he incorporated Venture Advisors and developed mentoring programs for the St. Louis County Economic Council and the City of Highland, Illinois. In 2012 Venture Advisors opened a unique Co-working space to further assist St. Louis based startup ventures.
Lee’s topic will be Business Mentoring. Venture Advisors creates, implements, and manages business mentoring programs in partnership with municipalities, economic development agencies, business incubators, and local business and corporate entities.
Venture Advisors has developed a unique model that provides communities with tactical, business mentoring that helps entrepreneurs launch their ventures and achieve sustainability. Our programs utilize teams of volunteer mentors who are experienced, successful, business people, to help entrepreneurs achieve measurable goals and objectives.
